I would really like to set up my blog to use for a book club. Either it could be a specific book to review or kids give their comments on books that they have read. I think that is the best way I could use my blog in the library.

I thought the video streaming was neat at the school where the principal showed the kids around the school like an episode of cribs on MTV. I don’t remember exactly which one it was, I watched so many it got to be very overwhelming. I remembered the cribs one because it was entertaining. I think the kids would really get into doing something like that for the library. Children are so creative and I think that would be a neat part to introduce the library through the student’s eyes. Thanks

The RSS feeds I used were the Shifted Librarian, ResourceShelf, Library Stuff, and librarian.net. I was so confused by this assignment. I do not know if I did it right. I don’t think I would use this at all, it was very hard to navigate.

If you would like to take a look at my wiki you can log into lbhslibrary.pbwiki.com and under search, type in Long Beach High School Library. Thank you,

I am the Librarian at Long Beach High School. I would like to use my blog to do book reviews and get input from the student about the books in their library. I would like them to give their opinions and critiques on things they have read, introduce authors they think other student would like. I think this would be very beneficial to me and the students because they are taking part in the library process.
Thanks,
Betsy Hertz
